Weaving together yoga breathing (pranayama), healing postures (asana) and yoga nidra (deep rest), this one hour class aims to relax, restore and re-energise in an easeful, natural way. Don’t underestimate the “Power of Slow”! By moving slowly, mindfully and with synchronising the breath, you calm the nervous system dissolving stress and anxiety on both a mental and physical level. The immune system is strengthened, blood pressure lowered, inflammation reduced and sleep improved. There are a multitude of benefits to be gained from slow gentle holistic yoga – these are shared during the course and understood as you personally experience the positive changes.

We are all built differently, have differing levels of strength, flexibility or health – so I offer options during the asana (postures) section.  You will be asked to complete a confidential health questionnaire to ensure I can offer you individual guidance and support to help you get the most from this relaxed and friendly class.  Suitable for all – beginners, intermediates and everyone looking to take care of their health on a physical, mental and emotional level.  Prevention is better than cure…
