Charity New Moon Yoga Nidra (August)

Join me each month for a New Moon Practice…Gentle yoga with simple chant to prepare the body and mind, followed by a guided Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep).

Our August New Moon Yoga Nidra is in aid of The Felix Project (Formerly Fare Share). Throughout the summer thousands of families struggle to feed their children as free school meals are not available. Felix receive and redistribute surplus food to those in need all around the UK.

We are all in different financial situations, so when you sign up for this New Moon Nidra give what feels affordable for you. I have set the sliding scale between £5 – £50. All monies raised will go directly to Felix. I am donating my time and absorbing the card fees ( you will still be charged a small fee for your card use – I also get charged!)

Join in person if you can – a recording will be sent out to everyone who signs up – so you can catch up with the session at a time that suits you best.

When the new Moon rises, it doesn’t just mark the start of something new — it also closes the chapter that came before. It’s a quiet reminder of how cyclical everything is: how each beginning carries an ending within it, and how we’re always moving through this rhythm of being filled and then emptied by life…this creates space for the new to once again enter our lives.

Within this practice we set a Sankalpa – planting a seed of intention for the month to come.

You will need a quiet space where you won’t be disturbed, a yoga mat and light weight blanket. You might like an eye pillow or light weight scarf to cover your eyes during Nidra.

Open to all – no previous experience of yoga, chant or Nidra are required. Bring yourself exactly as you are.

These sessions are recorded, but of course I strongly encourage you to attend live if possible so that you feel really held and supported.
